Newcastle Central Masjid is a very special project for us here at the VDB Group.
We have worked closely with the local community to get this project moving, which was novated to VDB in 2019 subsequent to the completion of the first phase of groundworks. We feel a huge amount of responsibility and care towards all those involved and all those who will go on to use this beautiful building.
Newcastle Central Masjid is a phased project and is currently completed up to Phase 4 out of the 6.
This building is comprised of a myriad of different classrooms, a prayer hall, café, crèche, gym, wash facilities, offices, and function rooms that will be used to serve the local people and be used as an educational hub for the local community within the City of Newcastle upon Tyne.
